    Sunrise Bike And Zipline Adventure

    Tour Details:
    Your Bike N' Zip Haleakala Sunrise Adventure tour will begin as you experience the world's famous Maui sunrise on-top of Haleakala's summit at 10,000 feet, also known as the House of the Rising Sun. You will visit with rare and beautiful plant and wildlife, some of which you will only see on the slopes of Haleakala, home to the rare Silversword plant (known in Hawaiian as ahinahina) and a nesting area for Hawaii's State bird, the Nene goose. You'll have the opportunity to learn about the history of Haleakala and its significance in the Hawaiian culture. 

    Your bicycle safari will begin at the 6,500 foot elevation, where you will begin the descent down the world's largest resting volcano. You will gently descend the 21 switchbacks, where you will enjoy bi-coastal views of Maui's central valley and the West Maui Mountains, all while taking in the beauty and fragrance of the flora surrounding you. Get ready to feel  the wind in your face and view some of Maui's most beautiful scenic points. 

    As you arrive at Skyline Eco-Adventures Haleakala Zipline you'll get ready for the 2nd portion of your unforgettable adventure.  There you will trade your bike helmet for a zipline harness and begin your thrilling Haleakala Zipline tour, which features 5 amazing ziplines over canyons, 90 ft. drops and through fragrant eucalyptus trees on the slopes of Haleakala in beautiful Upcountry Maui. Experience the thrill of an Indiana Jones style swinging bridge and be amazed by Maui's only Pendulum up & back zipline, reaching speeds over 45 mph. Skyline Haleakala is a 2014 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award Winner and led by expert guides that will keep you safe and having more fun than you could imagine.

    Your tour also includes transportation from your hotel or condo and a meal stop around 10 AM.  Both zipline and bike rides are fully guided, by well qualified and experienced guides to assure you a fun and safe adventure. Please bring cash and/or credit card to pay for your meal.

    Approximate Times**
    3:00am - Pickup at your hotel or drive to Maui Downhill base in Kahului on your own. Continental breakfast included.
    5:00am - Depart Bike Tour headquarters for the summit of Haleakala for a sunrise experience
    6:00am - Drive down to the 6500 ft level to begin bike tour
    6:30am - Bike to Skyline Eco-Adventures Zipline adventure/Maui Lavender Farm
    8:30am - Begin your Skyline Haleakala Zipline Adventure
    10:00am - Lunch/Snack on your own at the Lavender Farm
    11:00am-12:30pm - Skyline transfer back to your hotel or the Maui Downhill base. Transportation will be confirmed at time of your reservation.
    **Times are approximate, due to change in sunrise times.  Your Activity Voucher will show the exact pick up time.
     

    RESTRICTIONS:
    All participants MUST weigh between 80-260 lbs. This helps the regulation of speed of each guest, and has nothing to do with the strength of the gear. Guests will be weighed on site.
    Guests MUST be physically able to RIDE A BYCICLE and HIKE 1/2 mile at 4,200 feet of elevation over uneven terrain.
    Guests with serious neck, back, or joint injuries or chronic heart problems should use their own discretion about their capabilities to safely participate in this activity.
    Guests MUST NOT have been scuba diving within 24 hours of scheduled tour time.
    All guests are REQUIRED to sign a release and waiver of liability prior to taking the tour.
    Guests MUST be 12 years or older. All guests under 18 must have a responsible adult sign for them.     Kids under 15 must be accompained by an adult. Kids 15-18 must have parents/guardian authorization signed at premises.
    NO pregnant guests.
    Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed on tour.
    Guests MUST wear hiking boots or athletic shoes (no open toes, no water shoes)
    Long pants are recommended.
    Guests need to arrive 30 minutes prior to their tour's departure time. Tours operate on a schedule and cannot wait for late guests.
    It is recommended that guests not participate if they have had recent surgery or have any serious back or joint problems.
    If a guest is booking on behalf of another person or group, it is their responsibility to inform each participant of these restrictions
