    MAUI Activities - The trail ride begins at the Mendes Ranch Corral in the West Maui Mountains and rides up into the mountain through rolling green pastures to the edge of a lush ravine at 3000 foot elevation. The Trail continues down along the edge of Waihe'e Valley to the coastline where you will have an opportunity to relax before heading back up to the corral where refreshments are served. All tours offer spectacular panoramic view of the West Maui Mountains, the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, all of Central Maui and Haleakala.

    Bring sunglasses and sunscreen.
    Wear long pants and close-toed shoes.
    Two tours available both are 2 to 2 1/2 hour ride includes refreshments.
    AM tours check in at 8:45am and PM tours check in at 12:15 pm - Mondays through Saturdays.

    There is a weight limit of 250 pounds.

    Children only over 7 years of age.
    No pregnant women and those with back or neck injuries

Traverse winding paths through lush valleys, pristine meadows, and awe-inspiring cliffs, guided by our knowledgeable paniolos (Hawaiian cowboys). Along the way, immerse yourself in the natural splendor and rich history of the island, creating cherished memories on this scenic adventure.

     

    Important Information:

    - Rider height and weight requirements must be adhered to for the safety of both riders and horses. No refunds will be issued for non-compliance.

    - While no prior riding experience is needed, participants must have the physical fitness to independently mount a horse using a mounting block. If you have health concerns or limitations, please disclose them during booking.

    - Our paniolos provide instructions but cannot physically assist with mounting. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to deny participation to individuals unable to mount independently. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

     

    What to Expect:

    - Welcome & Preparation: Be greeted by our friendly team, who will pair you with a horse suited to your experience. A safety briefing will ensure you’re ready for the journey.

    - Trail Departure: Embark on a guided ride departing from Circle M Ranch Corral. Experience rolling hills and verdant valleys as the trail unfolds.

    - Scenic Valley Exploration: Descend into the valley's lush greenery, enjoying the tranquil surroundings as you journey toward the coastline.

    - Coastal Views: Revel in sweeping ocean vistas and majestic mountain backdrops at the coastline, accompanied by the invigorating ocean breeze.

    - Return to the Ranch: Complete your adventure with a peaceful ascent back to Circle M Ranch Corral, where our team will assist with dismounting and ensure your horse's care.
