    MAUI Activities - Coming to Maui during the Christmas season and looking for a fun and unforgettable way to celebrate? The Hyatt Regency Drums of the Pacific Luau might just be the way to do it! You'll enjoy a renown Polynesian revue and Christmas luau packaged into one fun and exciting evening! The Drums of the Pacific Luau will take you through a journey through the islands of Polynesia, with performances that will excite the entire family! You'll watch dances of Hawaii, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti, Tonga and the awesome fire-knife dancers of Samoa.

         * Delicious all-you-can-eat buffet of Hawaiian and Christmas favorites

         * Open bar featuring beer, wine, mixed cocktails, mai-tais, fruit punch & more
         * Kids 5 & under are FREE


    Those who book early will have the option to choose Standard or Premium seating, and will also get the best seats, as the Hyatt Luau features pre-reserved seating, no matter which tier you choose, the sooner you book, the better your seats will be. In addition to all the regular perks which come with this fine Maui luau, you'll also enjoy delicious Christmas dishes to make it a very special celebration!

    SEATING TIERS & FEATURES:

    General Seating
    Greeting: Mai Tai or Punch & Shell Leis
    Seating: Starts at Row #3 of tables.  Seats will be pre-assigned based on the day we receive your booking
     
    Premium Seating
    Greeting: Mai Tai or Punch & Fresh Ti-Leaf Lei
    Seating: Starts at Row #2 of tables.  Seats will be pre-assigned based on the day we receive your booking
     
    VIP Seating
    Greeting: Mai Tai or Punch & Fresh orchid lei for women, keepsake Kukui nut lei for men
    Seating:  Row #1 Center.  Seats will be pre-assigned based on the day we receive your booking


    Days & Time:  Christmas Day ONLY @ 5 pm
    Duration:  Approximately 4 hours


    PROGRAM OF EVENTS (times are approximate)

    4:30 PM - Luau registration and check-in for General Seating. Pictures taken by Maui Photo World available for purchase after the show.
    4:45 PM - Luau registration and check-in for Preferred Seating, who will be using the VIP entrance. Pictures taken by Maui Photo World available for purchase after the show.
    5:00 PM - 5:45 PM: Doors Open for General & Preferred Seating sections. Shell lei greeting upon arrival with welcome Mai Tai or Tropical Fruit Punch
    5:30 PM - 8:30 PM: OPEN BAR & HAWAIIAN ARTS DISPLAY
    6:00 PM: HAWAIIAN WELCOME, TORCH LIGHTING & IMU CEREMONY (unearthing of freshly roasted pig)
    6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: DINNER BUFFET
    7:00 PM: TRADITIONAL "LAVA LAVA" WEAR FASHION SHOW & HULA LESSON W/AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION
    7:30 PM - 8:30 PM: POLYNESIAN REVUE with FIRE KNIFE DANCE FINALE  (Photo opportunities with dancers and entertainers, following the show)
