    Panoramic Live Volcano Flight

    MAUI Activities - Daily from West Maui, this Big Island Volcano flight departs from the convenient Kapalua airport, located a few minutes from the Kaanapali, Lahaina and Kapalua resort communities.  Enjoy an unforgettable 2 Hour & 15 Minute flight and explore the world's most active volcano area and see both Maui and the Big Island in the same trip.     HIGHLIGHTS OF YOUR TRIP:

    Following departure from Kapalua Airport, you fly along the south shore of Maui past Haleakala (or weather permitting, we'll fly over Haleakala!) and then cross the Alenuihaha Channel to the northern tip of the Big Island. You fly over the Parker Ranch, view the world class observatories at the top of Mauna Kea and fly over Kilauea and proceed to the active volcano area. Leaving the active area, you fly over Hilo and Akaka Falls and follow the Hamakua Coast of the north shore. You then see the spectacular Kohala cliffs and waterfalls, cross the channel again, fly over Heavenly Hana and follow the north shore of Maui back to your point of origin. Actual flight times and routing may vary. Departs several times daily from West Maui Kapalua Airport (just minutes from most West Maui resorts). Volcano activity and weather is variable making each tour a unique adventure.Maui and it's neighboring islands are best seen from the air as the vast majority of each island is inaccessible from the ground. One of the best values on Maui is the active volcano air tour of Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii (the two largest Hawaiian islands) in one of Volcano Air Tours' comfortable, air-conditioned, twin-engine, ten seat airplanes.     Volcano Air Tours boasts a perfect safety record and is the only airplane tour company on Maui authorized to fly low scenic air tours over Volcanoes National Park. Every passenger has a large rectangular window which makes it easy to see out both sides of the airplane and a stereo headset to listen to the pilot's narration and stereo music, all in air-conditioned comfort.

    You will also see breathtaking rain forests, Heavenly Hana, spectacular beaches including black sand beaches, scenic coastline views, dramatic cliffs, cascading waterfalls, the world's largest dormant volcano (Haleakala) on Maui and lava flows in an active volcano area on the Big Island of Hawaii. During whale season you may spot whales, and, if you are really lucky, you might find a full circle rainbow while flying around a little rain shower. Each tour is a unique adventure with different sights to see, so remember to take your cameras and lots of extra film and wear dark shirts to reduce glare for photos. Volcano activity and weather are variable making each tour a unique adventure.

    Our concierges will be contacting you in order to get each passenger's body weight f.  It's important that the correct body weights be reported so that vendor may be able to assign seating and provide comfort and safety for all on board. Passengers will be weighed upon check-in.

    There is a comfort seat surcharge which applies to all passengers weighing between 260 and 290 lbs.  We apologize for any inconvenience but this tour cannot accommodate anyone weighing over 290 lbs.
