MAUI ACTIVITIES - Experience the Westin Wailele Polynesian Luau, located in the heart of Kaanapali Beach, at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa. The Wailele Luau has been designed to bring traditional and authentic dances, songs and colorful costumes to visitors of this beautiful island, Maui. Guests will embark on a vibrant and exciting journey to the Polynesian Islands where dance was considered not just as a form of entertainment, but as a means of telling stories.

Executive Chef Garret Fujieda and his team of highly experienced chefs have created a delicious buffet dinner which may just be one of the best meals you'll enjoy while on Maui! There will be a free flow of drinks and cocktails such as Mai Tai, Blue Hawaiian, the signature Westin Sunset, red and white wines, beers, including Tahitian beer, sodas, and fruit juices.

Additionally, there will be crafters with interactive arts and culture for guests to participate and enjoy experiencing more of the Polynesian way of life. From coconut husking to coconut frond weaving, poi ball demonstration and learning to tie a pareo (sarong), you will find yourselves transported to a magical moment in paradise.

The show itself boasts the most extreme troupe of fire knife dance performance in Maui with one of the members, Tavita, as a third generation fire knife dancer. Catch spell-binding Fiji and Maori performances with the choreography and dance moves carefully supervised by Fiji and Maori chiefs. The show will also include dances and songs from: Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand and Samoa a truly authentic Polynesian revue!

My husband an I went to this Luau in April 2014 and I highly recommend it. Our accommodations were at the Westin which made it convenient for us so we didn't have to drive. The show was beautiful and the fire dancers were incredible. We paid the extra money for the preferred seating which was nice but I don't think it was really necessary because it wasn't really crowded so I believe everyone had a good seat. The staff was friendly and accommodating!

We thought that the Wailele Polynesian luau was excellent and the food was out standing. But most of all the whole luau was handicap friendly . thank you for a wonderful luau

This was my family's first time to Maui - we loved it. This luau was the icing on the cake! Amazing food and the fire dance was easily one of the coolest things I have ever seen. The staff was so attentive and there was an opportunity at the end to take pictures with the dancers.

It was absolutely fantastic! We were treated wonderfully, the wait staff couldn't have been better! And the entertainers, WOW! just WOW! I will never forget it, and when we come back a few years from now with our children, this is the Luau we will see again! Beautiful dancers, beautiful everything. Thank you for a show I will never forget.

This luau was fantastic!!! Everything was top notch. The food, drinks, service, show, views, EVERYTHING was amazing. My favorite part was the fire performances, it was super cool to see 4 guys doing it all at once! I definitely recommend this luau to everyone, it is a must!
